What we collect during alpha

• Account data: email, hashed password, OAuth identifiers (Google), preferences set during onboarding
• Usage data: pages visited, actions taken, errors encountered (for product improvement)
• Content you create: saved recipes, collections, learning progress, ratings
• Billing data: handled by Stripe; we store only customer/subscription identifiers
• Operational logs: server-side request metadata for debugging and uptime

How to delete your account and data

Sign in, go to /settings/account/delete, and confirm. Deletion cancels any active subscription immediately, removes your data from every service database, and completes within 30 days per GDPR Article 17 / CCPA § 1798.105. Implementation details are documented in the engineering spec at design/data-deletion.md.
