What to include in a takedown notice

Per § 512(c)(3), your notice must include:

1. Your physical or electronic signature (or an authorized agent's)
2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed
3. Identification of the material to be removed, with enough detail (URL, recipe ID) to locate it
4. Your contact information (name, address, phone, email)
5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
6. A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner

Counter-notification

If your content was removed and you believe it was a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice per § 512(g). Send to the same address with the elements specified by the statute.

Repeat infringer policy

Accounts that receive multiple valid takedown notices are subject to suspension or termination per § 512(i)(1)(A).
